There’s a nice big hole in the rear left quarter of my Legacy and my inspection sticker expires soon. Time to gather up the tools and the questionable things that help make the job easier somehow.

A roll of masking tape, an electric cut-off tool with a wire brush, some foam filler, a bit of Bondo, some primer, and whatever spare rattlecan paint that’s lying around should do the job.

Hoo boy.

Eh, couple hundred buys a decent welder for body work purposes. I bough t mine for $100 off CL. Little 110 flux core works great for body work.

Gonna just replace the car at some point. She just needs to last a winter or two more, long enough for me to get enough cash down for  a $4000 car so I won’t absolutely murder my bank account in the process.

It’s probably going to sell for $6 00, $700 to a desperate high school or college student. I won’t get much more than that from a dealer. Big thing will be that it runs and drives.

Targeted marketing is fun.

Cheap n’ shitty is the name of the game here. If it’s in the garage already, it’s getting used.

Just gonna stick a layer of Bondo on top so it looks good enough.
